Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Ministry is an exciting new piece of ISUWesley. This ministry includes a prayer team, 24-7 prayer room, prayer partners, and focuses even more time on prayer requests.

The prayer team is a group of people outside of the ministry who continually pray for our ministry. They are updated monthly through email and have agreed to spend a little time focusing on the Wesley Foundation.

The 24-7 prayer room is a place for people to grow closer to God through prayer. Each person spends an hour at a time in a specific room devoted to prayer whether that is through silent prayer, singing, reading the Bible, painting, or any other way they might feel most comfortable connecting to God.

A new idea we are starting is prayer partners. Each person in the ministry can (if they would like) be paired up with another in the ministry and can be there specifically for each other. They can get together as frequently or infrequently as they like and pray together, talk about each other’s concerns, hold each other accountable to goals they’ve made, and pray for each other separately. It will be just another means of support during our crazy and awesome college lives.
